WJFF’s Movies and Music series joins the Hurleyville Arts Centre in presenting a wondrous night of dance on film with Wim Wenders’ Pina: Dance Dance Otherwise We Are Lost, a stunning portrait of the work of contemporary dancer, choreographer, pioneer Pina Bausch.

Wenders is best know for the films Paris Texas, Wings of Desire, and Buena Vista Social Club.  Wenders and Bausch collaborated on this project, with the choreographer recreating her most famous and ground breaking performances for cinema.  Bausch passed away before the film was completed, making this document that much more poignant.

Admission includes screening and afterparty across the street at the Pickled Owl.  Attendees first beer (w/ID) is courtesy of Catskill Brewery & The Pickled Owl.
